About Ambersoft

AmberSoft was founded in 1993 and started off developing software based simulators and Man-Machine Interfaces for the power industry. In 1997, we diversified into Document Imaging and Management and scored a major coup when Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) appointed us to implement their document management system.

From here, we embarked on developing our own Document Management product catering to the unique Asian market and the FingerTips product range was the result of this initiative. AmberSoft launched the FingerTips Document Management Suite in 2001 and it is currently the market leader in ASEAN with implementations in Local Councils, Banks, Government Agencies, Insurance & Engineering companies and fast expanding into the region.

Our product is currently marketed in Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, India, Thailand, Hong Kong and other Asian countries.

    Launched FingerTips Document Management System.

  • 2002

    Achieved MSC Status Software Company.

  • 2004

    Awarded R&D Grant from MDeC on Knowledge Management.
    Winner Best of General Application at MSC-APICTA.

  • 2005

    Developed and Launched SIMS (Substation Monitoring System) powered by FingerTips for TNB sites.

  • 2006-2008

    Launched Voice Archive Server to store and search voice recording.
    Launched FingerTips with new features for Search and Retrieval, data syncronisation as well as Windows 7 ready.

  • 2009-2010

    Released Multi-Language version of FingerTips (English, Indonesia, Thai and Vietnamese).
    Integration with multi-function printers (MFP) and launched APPs for MFP based OCR and Data Capturing.

  • 2011-2012

    Released FingerTips 8 fully web based system and workflow solution.

  • 2014-2016

    Released Document Security System (DSS) to track all Copy, Print, Scan and Fax on Multi-Function Devices.

  • 2016-2020

    Launched fully cloud based FingerTips Document Management System (tenanted, hosted and on-premise). OEM (White-Label) partnership with Konica Minolta (Malaysia, India) and FAV365 Cloud Accounting
